How to Make a Donation

Journey with a Mom - Give a Gift of Love

When donating by credit card through Zeffy, you’ll be asked if you’d like to help cover the service fee. To adjust the amount or opt out, simply edit contribution and enter your preferred amount, including $0.00. Rest assured, Birthright will receive 100% of your donation, regardless of your choice to contribute toward the service fee

We accept maternity/nursing clothing and infant/child sizes preemie to 5T: including coats, pajamas, underwear, socks, and shoes. Formula and/or breastfeeding supplies.
Diapers/ pull ups. baby wipes, baby food, strollers,
high chairs, bouncers, pack n plays, books, infant educational toys, and more.
Items must be washed/sanitized and stain free.

We are a 501-3c and your gifts are tax deductible.
We must have you advise us of a value for your donation.

How to Volunteer

Donate Your Time

Birthright is a volunteer-run organization, we rely on the dedication of our community to
support mothers and babies in need.

Bilingual volunteers are especially needed to assist our diverse community.
Join our Marketing Committee (assist in raising awareness) or Development Committee (assist in raising funds) to make a lasting impact.

Daily volunteers work in shifts to help sort donations and assist with day-to-day operations....
• Sorting and sizing children’s and maternity clothing
• Direct Client Care
• Office work: Answering calls, data entry, filing, etc.
• Special project or events

Can’t commit to daytime hours? Support us from home or occasionally in the community by helping with marketing or development efforts.

Host or Attend a Drive or a Fundraiser

Fundraisers

You can support us by hosting an event or attending an event where the proceeds or donations go to Birthright Lake, Inc. Check on our current events page if any events are happening near you.

Lenten and Ash Wednesday Collections
Area churches take up a special monetary collection on Ash Wednesday for which Birthright is the recipient. Other churches collect material aids and donate them to Birthright.

Collections or Drives at area businesses schools and churches
Area businesses, churches and schools collect material aids such as diapers, wipes, socks, underwear, and more! If you would like to host a drive at your location, please contact us.

Rummage Sales
Hold an annual rummage sale for the community where all proceeds are donated to Birthright Lake, Inc.

Have your own “Baby Shower” or "Birthday Party" with all gifts donated to Birthright.
Plan a party to celebrate with your friends. In lieu of gifts for the host, ask your guests to bring a gift for Birthright Lake, Inc.

Speaking Engagements

The essence of Birthright is love. Birthright has been providing support to the women and families in our community for over 50 years. We welcome the opportunity to make known our mission to your organizations, churches, social service agencies and schools.
